The 2009 BMFA British Nationals Championships was my 7th year competing at this big competition. The Nationals is towards the end of the season and is the biggest comp on the IMAC calendar. It takes place over 3 days at RAF Barkston Heath and is an unique event in that almost all disciplines within the BMFA compete on the site on the same weekend. Barkston Heath as you can imagine is a massive site and it enables everyone to have their own space without interfering too much with the other disciplines.

IMAC Clitheroe took place on the first weekend in August and is a northern competition near to Blackburn. In it's second year it is the replacement for the Woodvale Competition which is now no more. It is traditontal for this event to be an open class whereby everyone flies the same schedules, this being a one of known for Clitheroe and special unknowns also. The freestyle portion of the competition also counts towards the overall total.
